Andrew Brod Says It's A Depression

UNCG Economist Andrew Brod has declared that we are now in an economic depression:

"Add the recession — Brod calls it a depression — and the region carries an almost unbearable economic weight.

And we’re still “figuring out how to adjust to this structural trend,” Brod said.

Recessions come and go. Economic restructurings take decades to resolve, however"

He's a smart guy, that Professor Brod, he agrees with me a lot. I've known for quite some time Greensboro was in a depression and didn't need my lawyer's husband to tell me but Councilman Mike Barber has a solution I just know you're going to love.

Hey Ed and Bubba, was it 2005 or 2007 when I first told you where the economy was headed? Ed said something about trees falling... I guess his head was still out in the woods somewhere.
