I Told You Nancy Hoffmann Lies Like A Brick And I Was Right

On Saturday, June 14 I wrote:

"Remember the downtown buildings Greensboro City Councilwoman Nancy Hoffmann was recently in the news for failing to comply with the Good Repair Ordinance she helped draft and voted for?  I'm being told Hoffmann has no intentions of fixing her building on Lewis Street and is currently negotiating to sell two out of the three that were cited for violations of the Good Repair Ordinance The deal is supposed to close over the course of next couple of weeks."

I accused Ms Hoffmann of being in the building flipping business and I challenged her to prove me wrong. Well today Triad City Beat proves me right again:

"Greensboro City Councilwoman Nancy Hoffmann is planning to sell her building downtown on Lewis Street.

The building is under contract with Andy Zimmerman — who owns the property next door that will house Gibb’s Hundred Brewing and Greensboro’s Makerspace — he said. Zimmerman says they plan to come to agreement for purchase and close on the deal within 60 days, after which he will immediately start renovating."

The only reason Nancy Hoffmann is on the Greensboro City Council is to line her own pockets. And from the looks of things she has done so quite well.
