Were You Or Someone You Know Forced Out Of Heritage House?

If you were the American Civil Liberties Union of North Carolina wants you to get in touch with them ASAP. They're not going to take this land grab sitting down and neither should you but they have to talk to you before they can represent you.

Today I got the following e-mail from Emily-Mary Brown, NC Certified Paralegal, ACLU NC:

"Dear Mr. Jones,
Thank you for your e-mail dated July 28, 2014.  Chris Brook, our legal director, reviewed your initial submission and asked me to respond on his behalf.

In order for us to further evaluate this matter, we need to hear from an individual(s) who has been directly impacted by the City’s actions.  If you know of someone affected by the City’s actions, we encourage you to ask them to get in touch with us.

Update: Tuesday July 29, 2014. This morning I forwarded this post to gwen@gsodaycenter.org of the Interactive Resource Center who is setting up emergency shelter for the refugees of Heritage House. If they refuse to pass the information along I will consider them co-conspirtors aiding and abetting after the fact.

Sorry folks, we know you only want to help people but what happened at Heritage House is no more that a land grab.
