Time: Thursday, March 12th at 6PM
Location: TBD (Look for updates as the date approaches, NC A&T's Campus)
Because
we are workers who are tired of working for poverty wages. Because we
are people of color who are tired of being harassed and
brutalized by police. Because we are students graduating with tens of
thousands of dollars in student debt with no guarantee of meaningful
employment.
Because we are worth more, and we demand a future for all, not just the
super wealthy.
Join
us for a People's Assembly bringing together workers in the Fight for $15/hour, youth involved in the Black Lives Matter movement, students,
teachers, and parents fighting for justice in our schools, and other community members for a discussion about what we can do to fight back
together.
We'll
also be talking about a big day of action coming up on April 15th where
tens of thousands of people across the country will be
speaking out for better jobs and justice.
