EzGreensboro.com has recently learned from the hard working guys in the City garage that a Greensboro Parks and Recreation Golf Cart that was previously in use at Gillespie Park Golf Course was delivered to the garage for repairs and then after being repaired was delivered to the home of Greensboro City Councilman and President of First Tee of the Triad, Mike Barber.
No we can only speculate as to why Mr Barber might have a City owned golf cart at his home or if by chance he happened to buy it as surplus equipment but it seemed rather odd as the City of Greensboro does not, as a rule, repair surplus equipment before disposing of it.
Perhaps someone who is on speaking terms with Mr Barber or the rest of the GReensboro City Council could gather an explanation?
