Spending almost $40 Million Dollars of taxpayer money on a monument to a man who never even operated one of his malls in Greensboro is a sin considering we still have the highest unemployment and worst economy of any comparable city in the state.
Why Mr Tanger wants his name attached to a project that represents the failure of Greensboro's leaders to do their duty to Greensboro's working classes is simply beyond imagination.
This monument represents white privilege of the highest order and
elitism that we will never finish paying for. Destroy this monument
before the first stone is laid.
