So, lets say it works, Let's say the attempt by Reverend Nelson Johnson and the Community City Working Group to force the firing of the City Attorney, City Manager, and Chief of Police actually works.
Reverend Johnson does his little thing, and all 3 men get fired. What then? The next thing you will see is the News & Record, Triad City Beat, News 2, Fox 8, Yes Weekly, and all the other publications writing stories about how our current Mayor and City Council stood up for minorities on the eve of the election and in a landslide victory all the incumbents get voted back into office.
But the problem is still here and you are no better off.
