The City of Greensboro, via the Greensboro Partnership, is spending over $100,000.oo in taxpayer dollars for a "month-long media blitz of television, radio, print and online ads aimed at building public support for a new [PAC].”
And the study to determine the feasability of a Greensboro Performing Arts Center has yet to begin. Can you say, "putting the cart before the horse?"
Never mind the facts the Greensboro Partnership doesn't want you to see.
"The ad campaign says the [PAC] will be “owned by the great [City of Greensboro]” and bring “over 7,000 jobs and $300 million in wages.”
For one building?
And still no concern for the rest of Greensboro or the little green circle.
Greensboro politics as usual.
