Cascades Grandview: Setback Or Opportunity

Of course by now you've heard of the Cascades Grandview having defaulted on $7.2 Million in loans and scheduled to be auctioned off come November 13th. Well considering that Cascades Grandview was once a hotel and that there is a perceived "need" for a downtown hotel it would seem to me a smart developer would see this not as a setback for Greensboro but as an opportunity to give Greensboro what so many people seem to believe Greensboro truly needs.

That is, unless the downtown development gurus have been blowing smoke all this time.
