It was my understanding that the Downtown Greenway was financed in-part by the City of Greensboro and managed by Action Greensboro so I asked the City to send me information involving payments from the City of Greensboro to Action Greensboro. The following was their response:
"Hello Mr. Jones:
Your public records request has been reviewed and the following is the response from our Finance Department.
Finance cannot find any payments to Action Gso that deal with the Downtown Greenway project.
The City does not pay Action Greensboro any management fees or any pass through fees for the Downtown Greenway.
This should complete your public records request.
