DGI Gets A Slap From City Council

The News & Record didn't bother to report it this morning (What's new?) but last night the Greensboro City Council voted 9-0 to direct the city manager to explore alternatives to Downtown Greensboro Incorporated for Downtown Greensboro. Also included was having the City of Greensboro take over for DGI effectively putting DGI out of business and stopping the leeches from bleeding Downtown business owners to death.

We can only praise Councilwoman Nancy Vaughn for leading this effort and hope that Council follows through despite connections by Perkins, Johnson and Hoffman to DGI.
