If Greensboro's Leaders Were Really Interested In Economic Development 7

They'd be patting them streets and turning them corners looking for ways to put people to work, asking local business owners what kinds of services their businesses need the most and training local workers to do those very things. But instead, they spend their time doing the exact same things that haven't worked for the last 30 plus years while expecting different results.

And when the voters finally wake up our leaders will be patting them streets and turning them corners as they walk around looking for jobs for themselves. Then they'll come to be interested in economic development... Big time.

In case you're not familiar with the expression. Here in this part of the Southland there's an expression, "Working for Pat and Turner," which refers to walking the street while looking for work. "Patting them streets and turning them corners."
