Local liberals and conservatives agree, instead of coming up with scams to steal community assets and the efforts of community organizers they would look for more ways to help make them happen.
You know, if Greensboro's "leaders" really cared about economic development and weren't just trying to steal everything we own. You see, my neighborhood isn't the only Greensboro neighborhood with this need and if my neighborhood is successful then this can be repeated city wide if that's what other neighborhoods want to do. And that, my friends, is our "leaders" biggest fear as it takes away their personal profits and hands profits to the people who actually make the investments. In this case-- the taxpayers.
By the way, here's a way you can actually profit from helping the RCC by loaning them money at above market rates so that you get more back than you would if you leave your money in a savings account. And you don't actually invest until if and when the City of Greensboro signs the contracts with the RCC.
