Seriously Frayda?

Frayda Bluestein writes on Remote Participation in Meetings something we've seen take place in Greensboro. My reply:

"But how are the voters to know if the council member or board member participating remotely are actually who they say they are if said member is not in the room with the rest of the board? This alone should be enough to make any elected board afraid of such a process and enough to make the State Legislature take up legislation on the issue.

You know, if anyone really cared about open and honest government at the municipal level."
