Here's your chance to help stop Project Haystack-- the proposed 2000 acre megasite being rammed down the throats of taxpayers in Greensboro, Guilford and Alamance Counties. In a Letter to the Editor, Greensboro attorney, Alan Ferguson, who lives in Randolph County and has been fighting the Randolph County Megasite for the last 2 years has issued an invitation to Guilford and Alamance residents to join Northeast Randolph Property Owners in fighting both megasites pointing out that statewide there are 12 empty taxpayer funded megasites and nationwide there exists 180 empty taxpayer funded megasites.

Remember: These sites are far from the City of Greensboro and will only draw valuable resources and jobs away from Greensboro, not to Greensboro as local leaders suggest. When people take jobs far from where they live they eventually begin moving closer to those jobs and when they move those of us who are left behind will be left to foot all the bills to run the City of Greensboro.
