The Business Journal published a list of local leaders who are jumping ship or changing jobs but one they failed to note is Walter L "Butch" Simmons, Director of Engineering & Inspections for the City of Greensboro.

Assistant City Manager Andrew "Andy" Scott is caught up in an 18 year public records scandal that's only beginning to unfold and another $215,116.36 scandal involving Robbie Perkins and since demoted that has since snowballed into a $3 Million Dollar scandal that includes bribes to City Council members by one of the city's richest developers and to date no one has produced the $35 Million Dollars they claim to have raised.
And then there's the grand jury investigation going on downtown.
Yeah, I'd be jumping ship if it were me. Anyone seen Robbie Perkins lately? Is he still in the country?
