News and Record Civil Rights Museum Ass Kiss While Being Sued

"...The financing agreement provided about $26 million for construction"

Allen Johnson and Doug Clark

I thought I read the $26 million of tax credits
gave the museum about $10 million for construction.

Shouldn't the story have a disclaimer saying you are being sued for libel/slander by Skip and Earl?

Is this part of an agreement for them to drop the suit?

Not a lot of transparancy on this one.

"...The museum has until February 2018 to repay the balance of a $1.5 million forgivable loan from the city of Greensboro.

Which it defaulted on

There are other outstanding debts, among them $680,000 owed to Carolina Bank as well as 2015 and 2016 city and county taxes.

But those will be the last of the tax bills. Forever."
